TRAIN SMASH IN INDIA
CARRIAGES TELESCOPED.
MANY CASUALTIES. Renter's Telegram. DELHI, October 9. A train smash occurred last night on the North-Western Railway, between Sirsawa and Saharanpur. Twelve were killed and 27 injured. A portion of a goods train ran back, while shunting, and telescoped two thirdclass passenger cars, which were blocking the line.
