First the police searched for tho valet on the Riviera, but he escaped, and was traced to a farmhouse near Turin. The police surrounded the farm at night time, and found the valot asleep, and the jewels in a cupboard, with a large sum of money. The Roman police, who traced the valet to the Riviera, earn Prince Giustiniani’s reward, offered for the recovery of £BO,OOO worth of jewels. The jewels were stolen on July 2.5 th The Prince’s valet was suspected of the crime, which was committed wliilo the Prince and Princess were chloroformed. ,
