For Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, July 27. Edwin Thomas Wise, a returned soldier, and a janner, aged 29, dropped dead in th© Ellesmero district. He served with the Canterbury Battalion in tlie war while at th© front; suffered concussion, and was treated at Brockenhursb hospital. Ho had fairly health since ho returned to New Zealand, but lately had been bothered with a recurrence of ear trouble.
