‘Some amusement was caused at tho meeting of the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce, when a letter was received from tho Prime Minister acknowledging the receipt of a communication from tbo chamber asking for a reduction of railway fores for children, and stating that he had referred tho matter to tho Minister for Railways for his consideration. It was pointed out that sinco tho Hon. T>. H Guthrie became ill tho Prime Minister himself had undertaken the portfolio of railways, and that the communication should bo referred hack to tbo writer.
