HIS MAJESTY’S THEATRE

/ ALL VAUDEVILLE TO-NIGHT. The final performance by Fullers' English Revue was given last night to a very large audience, all anxious to give this popular coiApany a rousing send-off This was given effect to in no uncertain manner, v and the presents handed up at tho conclusion of the performance were numerous. To-night His Majesty's re-, verts to an all-vaudeville policy, when' a powerful programme, consisting of eleven high-class acts, five of which have been imported fx*om England and the Continent, will grace the stage of this popular house of amusement. Prominent among these is Miss Marie La Varre, who comes with a big reputation as a musical comedy star and a great favourite in Australian vaudeville. Her personal magnetism and beauty, together with her gift of comedy, are said to.be quite extraordinary. A European importation, Les Klieke, are to make their first appearance with ‘their Vfarisiiani electrical novelty "The Enchanted Forest," which was one of the big features in Fullers* "Mother Goose" pantomime in Sydney. Other newcomers are Ernest Kiake and Co., a comedy bar act from England, which appears under the title of "The Electric Tram Conductor." The Tumbling Tomboys are also from England, and making their first appearance to-night. Everybody's favourites, the Royal Grand Opera Singera, have returned to fulfil their Wellington engagement which was cut short a fortnight ago owing to unforeseen circumstances. The Stagpooles, a comedy couple, are also making their first appearance. Those remaining on the bill are Bert Terrell, the Dutch efimedian, Wendy and Alphonse, Elea Lewis, Jonie Pastor- and George Dixon. The new bill threatens to be one of the strongest ever 6een in local vaudeville.
