HARODURT AND CO. There was a very good attendance at Messrs Harcourt and Co.’s auction rooms yesterday afternoon, when, acting under instructions from the Public Trustee, they submitted a magnificent 19-roomed residence on a. large section of land, with a frontage of 60 feet to Hill 6treet, and known as "Chatsworth/" No. 64, Hill street, and in the estate of the late Ethel Gurney, a 5-roomed dwelling on land having a fiontage of 22J feet to Ghuznee street, Iby a depth of 90 feet, and within a fea- yards of the very centre off the shopping-area of Cuba street and known as No. 73, Ghuznae street. Bidding was keen for both properties, but they failed to reach the reserves and were passed in, and are now in the hands of the auctioneers for private sale. ,
