CAMPBELL STATUETTE

FINAL OF COMPETITION. WELLINGTON’S SELECTION. The Campbell statuette competition amongst ail cadet companies other than ■secondary schools throughout New'Zealand will be judged .on attendance, musketry, drill, physical training, and their shooting during the year. Each company is inspected by a regimental district board, which selects the best company. Similarly a board from command headquarters selects the best company in the command. The three companies representing the three commands in New Zealand are inspected by a board from G.H.Q. which decides the winner of;'the competition. Number 31 company, Wellington, under Captain Rankin, has been selected as the best company in the Wellington command by G.H.Q. The other two have yet to be selected, and the final decision takes place towards the end of the month. The statuette competition was promoted by Colonel G. F. Campbell. ,
