GREAT BRITAIN AND DOMINIONS. IMPERIAL ECONOMIC POLICY. A comprehensive review of present trade relations existing between the Dominions and Great Britain, especially regarding preferential duties, has been cabled to the. Governor-General by the Empire Development Union, or which Lord Long is president. The message points out what measures of preference already exist, and. _ states that it is of the very highest importance that the forthcoming Imperial Eeonomio Oonference should adopt an Imperial economic policy on a scale sufficient to lead to the rapid development of Empire, and the solution of its present difficulties.
