The Rochefeller Institute has announced that two of its doctors, Frederick Oates and Peter Olitzky, have succeeded in isolating the influenza germ. Experiments in antidotes and antitoxins are now progressing. _ The germ is called Bacterium Fneumonsintes, because it weakens the lung tissues. It is so small that it requires to he magnified 1000 times before it is visible.
