She will discharge 10,000 feet of timber here and 600 tons of gasoline. She is expected here to-morrow, and after discharge here proceeds to Australian ports. SIOHR.AKX AT LYTTELTON The Union Company’s intercolonial steamer Moeraki, which left on Thursday evening, arrived at Lyttelton yesterday afternoon. She will proceed south and then goes on 1o Melbourne. A BUSY WATERFRONT. The wharves at Wellington have been exceptionally busy during the past few dayg, there being no less than four overseas Union Compnnv vessels arriving and departing. The Moeraki and Manuka both , sailed for Australia within practically a ferw hours of one another, while the Kaituna also sailed for Auckland a few moments after the Moeraki. The trans-Pacific steamer Tahiti arrived last evening from San Francisco, and the Port Darwin got away in the afternoon for London. The exodus of vessels from iiort left most of the wharves deserted last evening, with the exception of the smaller coastal vessels, which arrived and departed to schedule. HANNAH DUE PANAMA. Advice has been received by hfessrs G. H. Scales, Ltd., that the steamer Hannah, bound from England, is due at Panama to-day, on route for Ne.v Zealand for loading. She passed the West Judies on 'Wednesday last, being signalled at St. Thomas. MARAMA FROSI SYDNEY. Tho Union Steamship Company liavo received advice that the Marama is due at Auckland from Sydney on Tuesday next. She will sail again for the Australian port on February 9th.

TAHITI FROM ’FRISCO. The Royal mail steamer Tahiti arrived from San Francisco last evening and alter being granted clearance berthed at the Taranaki street wharf to discharge passengers and cargo. She left San Francisco on January 12th and experienced fine weather on tho run down tho Pacific, making Papeete on January 23rd. After discharge of cargo at the latter port, she proceeded to Rarotonga, where she arrived on January 26th, and after loading a quantity of fruit, sailed on the following day. Excellent, weather was experienced throughout the trip, and the vessel made good time. She has seventy passengers for Now Zealand, who disembarked at Wellington, including a great number of American tourists. There are also three American trotters which have been purchased by Mr Benjamin Jarden, of Christchurch, which arrived in excellent condition. The Tahiti is timed to sail on Monday afternoon for Sydney. THE CITY OF EVANSVILLE. The City of Evansville, 6553 tons, Captain D. O. Evans, which is due at Wellington on February 12th from Auckland, via Napier; is at present at Auckland discharging cargo from New York, Philadelphia, and. Newport News. She has 46,000 cases of oi l , 223 drums of crude cyanide, 1000 cases of lubricating oil, 3000 bundles of galvanised wire, 165 . bags of cement, and a. quantity of electrical and agricultural machinery and lawn mowers. There are three racehorses on board, consigned from New York to Lyttelton. NORTHERN COMPANY’S VESSELS. The Northern Company advise the following movements of their coastal vessels:— Tho Wanaka. which sailed for Auckland on Thursday evening, is to load next week for Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Bluff, Oamaru andi Timaru. The Katoa, from New Plymouth, is duo here to-day, and sails on Monday for Lyttelton and Dunedin, loading ut Dunedin via Oamaru, Timaru and Lytteltoc for Wellington and Auckland. ’ The Kini is due at this port to-day and loads the same day for Gisborne and Napier. The Corinna, from New Plymouth, is due here on Tuesday and loads at this , port for Dunedin, Oamaru and Timaru. The Kahika loads at Dunedin on sTondav via ports and loads here on Thursday for New Plymouth and Nelson.

PORT PIRIE DAMAGED. ! The Sydney siarine Underwriters and Salvage Association has received a cahle message stating that the steamer Port Pirie struck the quay at Cardiff, breaking three of her propeller blades. Three plates in the starboard side of the vessel were damaged. The Port. Pirie is ownpd by the Commonwealth and Dominion Line, Ltd., asd is en route from Australian ports to Liverpool. A steel twin-screw steamer of 8491 tone, she was built in 1912 at Belfast. PESHAWUR LEAVES PANAMA. Cabled advice states that the Peshawur, which sailed from Avonmouth on January Bth with cargo for discharge at Auckland. Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Bluff, passed through the Panama Canal on January 25th. She is duo at Auckland on February 16th. OIL FOR NEW ZEALAND. Several vessels are expected to bring oil to New Zealand in the next month or two from Singapore. These are the old steamers Cyrena, Havre, and Pinna, which will probably sail from Singapore next month for Dominion ports. TEKOA FOR HOME. The Federal Line advise that the Tekoa will now leave at daylight to-mor-row for Home. Her ports of call are New York. Boston, Avonmouth, Liverpool, and Glasgow. RUAPEHU AT NAPIER. The New Zealand Shipping Company’® vessel Ruapehu arrived at Napier at noon yesterday, and is to sail on Wednesday for Lyttelton, Dunedin, Bluff, and Wellington. The New Zealand Shipping Company advise that the steamer Trevessa is to leave New York to-day for New Zealand and Australian ports. The Shaw, Sarill and Albion Company advise that the steamer At’henic from Southampton, will arrive at Wellington at 6 a.m. on Wednesday to land passengers. She will proceed to Lyttelton on Wednesday .4,T|i-noon with cargo for Port Chalmers and Bluff. MAHANA LEAVES LAUTOKA. The S.S. tfhd A. steamer Mahana left Lautoka, Fiji, at 7 a.m. yesterday, and should arrive at Auckland on Tuesday. She has cargo for discharge at Auckland and Lyttelton.

SEIGNEUR’S ITINERARY. Messrs Murray, Roberts advise that the Canadian Seigneur left Halifax on January 22nd, via Panama. She will make Auckland the first port of call, transhipping all New Zealand cargo at the northern port. She then proceeds to Australian ports, returning to New Zealand to load for New York, Boston, and Halifax. FLORA TO RESUME. . The Union Steamship Company’s Island steamer Flora, which has been laid up at Auckland for some considerable time, is now being recommissioned, and is expected to leave the northern port within a few days for southern ports. NAVUA DELAYED. The Union Steamship Company advise that the Ne.vua has been delayed at Auckland owing to heavy continuous rain, and her departure for Fiji, Tonga and Samoa lias been postponed until 2 p.m. on Tuesday. WAIMARINO AT LYTTELTON. The trans-Paoific steamer Waimarino arrived at Lyttelton from New Plymouth this morning, where she will discharge cargo. After discharge at the latter port she will proceed to Dunedin to put out further cargo. TUTANEKAI FOR COOK STRAIT. The Government steamer Tutanekai, from Northern lighthouses, will probably proceed to the Cook Strait lighthouses some time next week.
