TWOWILLS ONE DECLARED INVALID. DECISION BY CONSENT. Australian, and N.Z. Cable Association. LONDON, February 1. Air Justice Duke, in the Probate Division, by consent, pronounced against tbo Northcliffe will of July, 1922, propounded by Lady Northcliffe as executrix, which Sir George Sutton and Air Arnholz caveated as executors of the earlier will. Sir John Simon, representing Lady Northcliffe, announced that a settlement had been reached. The terms of the compromise left no loophole for further controversy. Lord Northcliffe left a number of documents expressing his wishes in some formal legal shape, and others of a much less formal character. Lady Northcliffe was unable to establish the documents propounded as duly-constituted testaments, and therefore consented to these being pronounced against. The parties interested in these documents were provided for under the will, which the executors had already proved, and also by the term of the compromise. Air Justice Duke pronounced for the will of March, 1919, with four codicils.
