BUILDING OF NEW POST OFFICES. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, February 2. A deputation asked the Hon. J. G. Coates, Minister for Public Works, today for a new post office at New Brighton. In reply, the Minister said that a new poet office was going to be “a pretty hefty job.” On a previous occasion he had explained 1 the post offico buildings they had in hand and the new one® they were undertaking. Throe of them were unfortunately in the North Island, and it so happened it was impossible to carry on the business in these offices, and tenders were let for the whole of them. They had a new schedule to consider, and he would be glad to consider the whole question.
