WATCH FOR CHRISTMAS LIQUOR. RUNNERS. The American "Dry Navy” put to sea recently to cheek the great flotilla of "rum-runners” which are said to he hovering round the eastern sea-hoard with a stock of Christmas liquor. Reinforced by extra boats hastily pressed into service, it is hoped that the ''Dry Navy” will stop nearly a hundred of the boot-legging craft. Prohibition agents ashore are patrolling tho nooks and bays ready to pounce upon evorv suspicious-looking craft, and other agents are scanning the skies, in consequence of reports that liquor is being smuggled across the Canadian border by aircraft.—Reuter. _
