TE ARO STATION
DISCONNECTED AT LAST. LINES BEING PULLED UP. It Is many yeafs since Wellington people last saw a train prooeeding along Jervois quay to Tei Aro. station, although the rails have been left intact. However, the work of pulling up the rails has now commenced, and the old station ceases to be connected feith the New Zealand railway system. When the work now being carried out by the Railway 'Department is completed, the oouncil will put in hand the work of putting the road in proper repair.
