LIFE-SAVING DISPLAY

This afternoon, commencing at 2.30, the LyalL Bay Surf and Life-Saving Club will give various demonstrations of the life-saving work on the Lyall Bay beach. In between the different displays .vill be several comedy "stunts," and the afternoon should be decidedly entertaining as well as instructive. As these clubs are all self-supporting and their equipment has often to be replenished, an effort will be made to assist their finances per medium of a cake and drink stall, which will be under the control of the lady supporters of the club, and opportunity will be given to those present to try their skill .at hoop-la qpd coconut 6hy.
