Carnations only flowered in July fifteen years ago, now there isa variety which will stand outdoor life all the year round, blooming for eight months in succession. Two churches, one in Edinburgh and the other in Southport, are now fitted with a special appliance which enables deaf * worshippers to listen to the eervioe.
