Ltd., are in receipt of a cablegram from their London agents, dated 181 b instant, reading as follows : —"Sheepskins—Merino ■ind fine crossbred 10 per cent dearer. Sheepskins—‘Crossbred medium and crossbred coarse 10 per :ent. to 15 per cent, dearer." BUTTER AND CHEESE. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having received the following cablegram from their London house, i nder date of 18tl) instant': — "Butter—Market steady at present prices We quote New Zealand salted 1965. Australian g.a.q. 186 s, Danish 2125, Australian finest salted 152 s, unsalted 1945. “Cheese —Market quieter. New Zealand 130 s. Canadian 1325. “Total imports of butter into the United Kingdom during December 420,000 cwt, as compared with 303.600 cwt for corresponding period of 1921.” FROZEN MEAT TRADE. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Teport having received the following cablegram from their London house, under date of 18th Instant:— * “Quotation —New Zealand prime crossbred lamb. North Island, light 13d (new season’s). Demand for New Zealand lamb moderate, market firm. “New Zealand prime crossbred mutton. North Island, heavy Od, light 9}d. Demand for New Zealand mutton continues. market firm owing to light stocks. “New Zealand prime ox beef, hinds 4fd. fores 4Jd. Demand for New Zealand beef continues, market firmer. “G.A.Q. crossbred lamb. Australian, heavy lOd, light lid: mutton, heavy 7d, light 7Vd. Demand for Australian, lamb runs principally on finest qualities. Mutton better."
