The total profits for the Plunhel Shield match at Wellington were £372, and of this £240 goes to the Wellington Cricket Association, £llO goes to the Auckland Association, and the New Zealand Council receives £lB. He said that the usual grant was five guineas, hut everyone recognised that the league had always done good work, and was preparing the way for the younger players.
