Published In "The Times.'* LONDON, January 9. “The Times,” in a leading article, says: “The Empire cannot wait much longer for its wireless communication,” and points out the vital necessity of wireless ta the British Empire. * “Yct the Empire dees not possess stations compassing the wtfrld like France, Germany, and thd United States. The dash of promoters and politicians has delayed progress. “Happily now there is no longer any theoretical reason why stations in different parts of the Empire should not be designed, built, equipped, and managed by different organisations, the solution to which events are moving.” “The Times” welcomes Mr Neville Chamberlain’s assurance of the absence of a conflict of views between the Dominions nnd_ Home Government and the repudiation of the Post Office’s fighting policy with its own allies.
