A collision between a motor-cycle and a train at Rangiora, this evening, resulted in the death of James Stewart, 29 years, hiarried, and teller of the Union Bank at Rangiora. When approaching Ayres street crossing. the deceased evidently noticed the train approaching and applied the brakes, but the cycle skidded about fourteen yards and was struck by the locomotive. Death was instantaneous.
