Mr Edward O. Whiteley, who has been in the Dominion 6ome months in connec.tion with, extending the expoTt trade from New Zealand, returns to the. Efist via Sydney by the s.e. .Manuka to-day. During his stay here he has been in close touch with Dominion producers interested in. Eastern export trade, the possibilities of which are most encouraging. The countries. he will visit and operate in include the Federated Malay States, Straits Settlements, Java, SuV matra, Burmah, l Ihdia, Ceylon, Siam, French Cochin China, and Borneo, etc. Mr T. O: IJishop, secretary of the New Zealand Employers’ Federation, has left on a holiday visit to Auckland. Mr Bishop left yesterday for Hawke’s Bay, after which he will visit Tauipo on his way to the northern city. Mr T. E. Y. Seddon, ex-M.P. fqr Westland, is at present in*Wellington. ' Mr H. A. Beauchamp, New Zealand general manager for Kodak, Australasia, Proprietary, Limited, leases on a visit to Australia to-day by the Manuka.
