MURDER GANG’S RECORD. BLOOD SPILT WITH IMPUNITY. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. HELSINGFORS, January 3. Kotoff, a man of fine physique, and Vino Lourova, a beautiful girl, are on trial before the Moscow Revolutionary Tribunal for one of the most appalling series of murders recorded even in Soviet Russia. The prisoners oonfeseed to the leadership of a hand of thirteen, of whom six were women, and which was responsible for 116 murders. The ex-leader of the gang, named Morozoff, was murdered by the gang owing to jealousy of his record. The gang’s practice has been to enter houses, decapitate the inmates, and rifle’’the premises. They then shadowed the receivers of the loot, and when sufficient money was obtained from the proceeds they murdered the receivers and their families. Many members of the gang were thus murdered, and probably Kotoff would have, killed all bis confederates but for his capture.
