BAY FERRY SERVICE

VOYAGE TO NEW ZEALAND. The Eastbourne Borough Council, for whom the Coastal Construction Company, of Montrose, Scotland, recently launched a new ferry steamer, Muritai, has received information that the machinery has been completed. The date of the vessel’s departure has not yet been finally fixed, but notification has been received that the Muritai will make the voyage via Torres Straits, and will he in chahrhge of Captain Fullerton.
