The following local body loans have been sanctioned by Order-in-Council: — Alatamata Town Board, for completing tile water-supply system, £5000; Northcote Borough Council, for drainage, 4)5000; Milton Borough Council, for the completion of the Alilton Borough waterworks, 263560; Pnpakura Town Board for water supply, 262800; Balclutlia Borough Council, for the erection of public swimming baths, 261500; Hobson County Council, for metalling DargavilleAwakino Valley road, £1500; Collingwood County Council, for erecting a doctor’s residence os a worker's dwelling, £1100; Avondale Borough Council, for completing waterworks and reticulation, £1000; Whakotano County Council, for erecting a medical practitioner’s dwelling, £1000; Featberston County Council, for telephone construction within the county, £900: Stratford County Council, for metalling Oruru road and Old East road, £750.
