GAMES AT MASTERTON. VISIT BY KELBURN PLAYERS. (By Telegraph.—Special to "Times.”> MASTERTON, November 12. The Kelburn (Wellington) lawn tennis teams met Masterton at Masterton on Saturday afternoon. The weather was showery, interfering with the progress of the games, two -singles being ‘Unfinished when play ceased owing to the visitor* having to oatch the train for Wellington. Masterton won two doubles and three singles, and Kelburn two dqubles and one single. The score* were as follow, Masterton players being mentioned first: DOUBLES. Jones and Gawith lost to' Wilson and D- Earle, 6—B. 6 —3, 6—3; Bee and Herbert lost to Melody and C. W. Earle, 5 6—4. 10—8; Reid and Moser beat Andrews and Japks, 6—B, 15—0; Welch and Miller beat Melody and Jarker, B—6, 6 1.. SINGLES. Gawith beat Wilson, 6—l. 6—2; Moser beat Andrews, 6—5, 6—l; Reid beat Jaok, 6—2, 6—l; Miller lost to D. Earle, 6-1, 6—l.
