The Canterbury Company’s steamer Breeze ,ie expected to go into dock at Port Chalmers to-day for lier overhaul. As it was raining hard at Wanganui on Saturday, the Calm was delayed at that port. Savill and Albion Company's liner Matakana left Auckland for Wellington in continuation of her voyage from Liverpool. The vessel is due at Wellington to-morrow morning, and after putting out part cargo will 6ail on Saturday next for Lyttelton and Port Chalmers to complete disoharge. The Matakana will subsequently commence loading at Blujjf for London. WAIHEMO .AT AUCKLAND. The Union Company's trans-Paolffo cargo steamer Waihemo arrived at Auckland at 9.5 a.m. yesterday from San Francisco. After putting out part cargo at Auckland the vessel will proceed on to Napier. MAHIA SAILS TO-MORROW The Shaw. Savill and Albion Co. advise that their liner Mahia will leave Wellington to-morrow for Picton and Auckland to continue Homeward loading. ANOTHER ORIENT BOAT. The Union Steam Ship Co., agents for the Orient Line, have received advice that another big 20,000 tons passenger boat, a sister ship to the new liner that was ordered recently by Vickers, Ltd., Barrow, has been ordered by the Orient Line from John Brown and Co., Clydebank. A full description of the first new liner ordered recently appeared in these columns last Wednesday. MAKURA FROM VANCOUVER, The Union Company’s R.M.S. Makura (Captain Crawford) arrived in the stream at Auckland early on Thursday afternoon from Vancover, via Honolulu and Suva, and berthed at the Queen’s wharf after medical inspection. It is reported that the Norddeutscher Lloyd has repurchased from America its former steamer Pocahontas (ex-Princess Irene), and that the United States Shippine- Board 'has sanctioned the transfer. The Pocahontas, which 'has been laid up at Gibraltar, is to be. towed to Hamburg or Bremen for reconditioning.

BARQUE JANNA PASTED MISSING;. The barque Janna, which loaded wheat at Sydney last year and left on December 3rd for Falmouth for orders, has been posted missing at Lloyd’s. The vessel, under the command of Captain Lund, carried a crew of nineteen and a cargo of 2762 tons of wheat in bags. She was cleaned and painted in dry dock at Sydney before she sailed, and it was expected that she would make the passage in 100 days. The Janna was a .steel barque, of 1616 tons, built at Glasgow in i 896. She was •owned by Mr. D. Steen, and registered at Christiania (Norway).
