A big error in election tabulations has been disclosed. Two Californian counties apparently reverse the antiprohibition majority in that State. The revised figures now 6how that Los Angeles, Oakland, and Alameda voted oyer two to one in favour of prohibition reinforcement. San Francisco voted three to one "In favour of memorialising Congress to amend the Volstead Act to permit the use of light wines and beer, but this is outweighed by new counts elsewhere.
