CAREER OF 3 BROTHERS
HOUSES ENTERED AND GOODS STOLEN. LACK OF CONTROL BY PARENTS. The exploits of three juveniles, members of the same family, resulted in their appearance before Mr F. K. Hunt, S.M., at tlie Juvenile Court on Saturday It was stated by tlie police that the eldest had stolen three bicycles valued at £l6 10s, and interchanged the parts to avoid identification He had also entered a house at Island Bay. the occupants of which had suffered material loss. In company with a brother, he had visited another house, and stolen £8 fro mthe cash box. On Sunday last the three accused had entered an unoccupied house in Lyall Bay and stolen goods and they had also obtained booty from another house in Queen’s drive. The eldest was committed to WereToa, the second one was returned to the Austin street Home and the case against the youngest was adjourned for six months. His 'Worship said that the mother of the boys was not fit to look after children.
