DUPLICATION OF LINES.
United Service Telegram. LONDON, September 25. It is understood that the Pacific Cable Board, on the recommendation of its Australian representatives, has over-ruled the decision l of Mr Milward, general moneger, in regard to the duplication of the Brisbane-Vancouver section . with a view to a wireless agreement, the development whereof is considered as likely to prevent the duplication as a commercial proposition. The board decided to proceed only as fax as laying the cable .from Brisbane to Sydney and from Auckland to Fiji. .
