The first round for the Lower Hutt Golf Club's. ladies' championships—senior and. junior—were .played on the club’s links yesterday. The weather conditions Were good, 'but there was a fairly strong breeze, which militated, against the play of some of the less experienced players. There were several interesting’ contests, 1 the outstanding one being that in the junior division between Miss P, Bunny and Miss McGregor, the gams going to the 19th hole before a decision, was obtained.” The following are the results of the games ployed: SENIOR DIVISION.
