GOAL STRIKE OVER
MINERS RESUME WORK. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association, NEW YORK, September 2. Philadelphia reports state that the coal strike is over, the anthracite operators and miners having agreed to resume mining at the old wage scale, whioh has been extended to August 31st, 1923. FIRE AT PITTSBURG RAILWAY WORKERS BURNT TO DEATH. Australian and N.Z. , Cable Association. NEW YORK, September 3. • A message from Pittsburgh states that a fire, believed to have been caused by incendiaries, resulted in the death of eigt strike-breakers, serious injury to eleven others, and the destruction of ia large building belong-: ing to the Pennsylvania-Railroad.
