MIRAMAR CLUB. A SUCCESSFUL TOURNAMENT. At the Miramar Club ladies tourna. blent-the results of the putting competitions were: — First day, Mrs Holmes; second day, Mrs Widdop; third day, Mrs Richardson and Miss Brandon tied, Mrs Richardson winning 1 the play-off. Mrs Richardson also won the trophy for the best putter over the three days. The first result was a tie between Mrs Widdop, Mrs Richardson, and Miss Brandon. 37 all. In the play-off, Mts Richardson won. ? PRESENTATION OF PRIZES. After the tournament the players assembled in the dining-room at the club, house, when Lady Jelliooo presented the prizes to the successful competitors. These were as follow: Open Champion.—Miss Gambrill cup and trophy presented by Mr H. S. His lop. Runners-up.—Mrs Guy William* and Miss Wither?, trophies, nresented by Messrs E. Bt. LidtUemnd Mr C. Beasley.

Juniors: Mrs Findlay. • Second Bogey Handicap.—Seniors: Mts Fulton and Miss Duncan tied all square for the trophy presented by Mrs Cooke. Juniors: Mrs Brodie two down. Putting Competition.—Trophy presented by Mr Lewis: First day, Mrs Holmes: second day, Mrs Widdop; third day end threenlays’ competition, Mrs C. Richardson. Mrs Widdop, president of the Miramar Ladies’ Club, spoke briefly, and' Miss Bell, on behalf of the visitors, proposed a vote of thanks for the club’s hospitality during a roost sneoesrfnl tournament. On the call of Mrs Guy Williams, three cheers were given for Lad’ Jellicoe.
