SOME! FIONHEIR HISTORY OF CUBA STREET. The meeting of the Early Settlers’ Association to be held on Wednesday evening next in Dustin's rooms, Cuba street, promises to be of unusual interest. A ©aba street night is announced and Mr B. G. Pildher will relate some of the early’, history of that street from 1840 upwards, ’followed by the reminiscences of those of the members who lived in the business part of Cuba street in tho days when the younger generation played dock-stone in tho creek that crossod about Ghuznee street. AM mem, hers and those interested in the progress of To Aro are Invited to attend.
