The first Lord Man ton (48), of Compton Verney, Warwickshire, and late of Linton Spring, Wctherby, better known as Mr Joseph Watson, of Messrs Joseph Watson and Co., Limited, of the Whitehall Soap Works, Leeds (now merged in the Lever combine),' a wellknown racehorse owner (owner amongst others of Lemonora, Love in Idleness, Blue Lady, and Tetrabbazia), who died from a hunting accident, left pro perty provisionally valued for probate “so far as can at present he ascertained,” of £1,000,000.
