A method ha« : been discovered by the Forests Prodiiots Laboratory of Canada, whereby Canadian poplar can be used in the manufacture of cigar boxes instead of the oedrela from Cuba. Some Canadian cigar manufacturers have already started making boxes from poplar. According to a report said to have been received from the Canadian Trade Commissioner at Calcutta, there ere 2000 Imperial Army officers anxious to come with their families to Canada. A Canadian Government representative is in India to get into touch, with these officers. Ear-rings, long scarves, and brightlycoloured stockings are worn by many fashionable American women while seabathing.
