NINETEENTH WEEK’S RESULTS. The nineteenth week of the Auckland Poultry-keepers’ Association fourth singlepen and team egg-laying competition, ended on Monday. t The birds on the whole are laying steadily. In the duck section two birds laid eight eggs in the 7 days, these .being R. J. Roberts’ No. 1 White Indian Runner and A. J. Thomas’ Nd. 3 Indian Runner. G. Ewington’s team of Runners laid the possible—2l eggs. The. total number, of eggs laid by • the 504 birds in all sections was 2274. The heavy breeds, consisting Of 72,teams,, laid 981; the 72 teams of light breeds' 925; and the 24 teams .of ducks 363. In the individuals, S. H. Scott’s No 2 Indian Runner leads with 123 eggs, while R. B. Cruickshank’S No. 2 in his No. 1 team of Blaok Orpingtons leads in the heavy breeds with 117 eggs. In the light breeds, R. J. Roberts’ No. 2 in his No. 1 team of White Leghorns leads with 191 eggs: Visitors to the competition are taking a great' interest in the fine appearance of the birds and the excellent 'laying performances put up in all sections.
