DELHI; August 20; Tho Government has sanctioned the release from gaol of 800 Moplahs convicted of minor offeuces and unlikely to endanger public safety. A message from Caliout states that the- plague epidemic is subsiding and is now confined to the Moplah quarters. Up to August 17th thero were 242 oases and 156 deaths. The chief Moplah rebel leader responsible for all the trouble in the Calicut district., and who escaped some time ago, has been rearrested by a party of Moplahs, who been tracking him for tho last month.
