WOMAN IN HARBOUR
EPISODE AT RONA BAY. Shortly after the Duchess left Rona Bay yesterday, on the 8.10 a.m. trip to town, a young married woman accidentally fell off the end of the wharf into the water. Several fishermen, who luckily witnessed the occurrence, went to her rescue. After considerable difficulty they managed to pull her into their boat, and finally brought her up on to the wharf. She was unconscious when landed, and artificial respiration was adopted. Dr Phyllis Mather was soon on the scone, and in about twenty minutes the woman regained consciousness. The doctor ordered her removal to the hospital, and sho was admitted at 1.45 p.m. yesterday. She was reported to be doing well at a late hour last night, though suffering from shock. It Is said that the woman is subject to fits.
