THE STOCK EXCHANCE MARKET FAIRLY BRISK. WAR LOAN STOCK IK GOOD DEMAND. Yesterday’s calls on ’Change showed the market to be fairly brisk. Inscribed Stock (1938) and (1939) showed an increase of ss. and there was ail increase of 2s 6d in War Bonds (1933), (1938), end (1939), and P.O. Bonds and P.O. Inscribed Stock (1927). Sellers were willing to take J5e for Inscribed Stock (1933) and a siiftilar amount for War Bonds (193;)). P.O. Inscribed Stock was obtainable at ,£95 15s.
