The following team will represent Town in a match v. Country, to be played at Newtown Park on Saturday, September 2nd: Dobson, Johnston, Jossop, Wilkins. Salisbury, Aamodt, Withey, Green, Williams, Duske, Le Warne, R. Anderson, Fisher. Emergencies—W. Hedges, Dawe. Foley, Hansen. Both teams will train at Newtown Park on Thursday evening, at 7.30. All players picked for representative games as above must turn out to practice, otherwise they will not be considered in the final selection. The team chosen to play South Auckland at Palmerston North on September 6th will leave Thorndon station by the first north-bound express on Wednesday morning.
