FEES OF EXPERTS. A question has been raised as to the remuneration paid by the City Council to the three experts who recently reported upon the question of voltage. •Inquiries revealed that the experts have not yet submitted their fees to tho council, hut whatever amount is paid will be made "public. It may be remembered that the City Council paid £125 to Mr L. Birks, chief Government electrical engineer, for a report prepared in connection with the change-over to hydro-electric power.
