Ihe wool tops case, which commenced in tho High Court on May 23rd (in which the Central Wool Committee and the Colonial Combing, Spinning and Weaving Company, Ltd., are contesting the validity of various contracts concerning the sale of wool tops by the company, tho amount involved being about £1,000,000). is drawing to a close after voluminous evidence baa been taken. Mr Campbell, counsel for tho defendant company, to-day continued his address, which has already lasted four days. Brentwood, Buses, with n death rate of under 12 per 1000, claims to bo one of the healthiest towns in England •
