YESTERDAY’S SESSION VARIOUS BILLS DEALT WITH. The House of Representatives met af 2.90 p.m. yesterday. MOTHEBHOOB ENDOWMENT. Mr M. J. Savage (Auckland We6t) introduced his Endowment of Motherhood Bill. The basic wage, he stated, should actually be based, as it was proposed to be- based, on the standard of living for the average family of man, wife and two children, and his bill aimed at providing the endowment of motherhood in the case of everv child after the second- The hon. member spoke at length on the bill, and when he concluded the Prime Minister brought down Bis bread of privilege motion as reported elar where.
