ANGLICAN CHINESE MISSION
An enjoyable and interesting.social was held in toe Chinese Mission Hall, Frederick street, on Wednesday evening. It was giysn in honour of tho Rhgliah teachers by tho acholawi attendiiur the Mission School. Tbs Rot. RY. P. Lee presided. The lam audience showed much enthusiasm* all tho items being oncored. Tho programme opened with a short speech of welcome by one of the scholars (George Hoag). Songs wore given by Mrs Id Kwang Hang, Misaos Ashenden, Hansen, HcPdksd, Wong Ton? <2). and Chin Ting (2>; musical selections by Mrs Li Kvnng, Rev. E. x. P. Lee. Messrs Baker and Chin Ting; recitations by Miss Hansen and Mao ters Mot Fong and Sing Ree. The conjuring of Mr 15. Ting was particularly appreciated. Prizes for the competitions were kindly donated bv Messrs Chin Ting, Wong She, and Wah Keo. After an excellent supper the missioner thanked all tho*»e who assisted to make the entertainment a success, and the meeting closed with singing the Nationa! Anthem end cheers for the Ecgli&t teachers.
