T earn W ork If every member of a football team played -without regard to combination their opponents would walk over them. * It is team work that counts—each man doing his best to win, but always co-operating with his fellow-players. So it is in the game of life—individuals can succeed only by the assistance of others. And so it is in the game of boosting Wellington. Think of the leagues and associations in Wellington, each one functioning with more or less success in its own restricted sphere. These organisations are comprised of loyal men and women, citizens who are keenly interested in the welfare of the city. ' We would suggest that a “Talk Wellington Conference” be called and that each organisation be invited to send one or two delegates. The object of this proposed conference would be to set up a central organisation with the sole aim of arousing public interest in Wellington. The question of new tramcar routes, power stations, city finance and all such matter shquld be left severely alone—there are organisations in existence to deal with those things. Wellington must be advertised, both by the printed and spoken word. Let’s get together and “TalK. Wellington” '(Contributed by a well-known Publicity Expert .)
