DAIRY COMPANY’S DECISION. An extraordinary general meeting of the Nireaha Dairy Company was held on Tuesday last for the purpose of discussing a proposal that the company equip their factory with a complete butter plant in order that they would be in a position to manufacture either cheese or butter. The proposal, which was submitted by the chairman, Mr Searle, was very freely discussed, and met with poor Bupport, and on being put to the meeting was defeated by an overwhelming majority.
