A BANKRUPT’S DOWNFALL. During the examination of John Joseph, a bankrupt, in the Supreme Court yesterday, before His Honour Air Justice Hosking, reference was made to an alleged burglary at tho bankrupt’s Rona Bay store, when his loss was stated to have been about £lO. Asked if he had suffered through any other burglaries, the bankrupt replied: —“No, none except home burglaries.” In explanation, then, the bankrupt went on to narrate how his wife had taken money from his pookete while he was asleep and had taken stock also. Eventually, be said, she had cleared off with his furniture while he was in the city.
