NO RETURN OF INCOME. rra PRESS ASSOCIATION. TIMARU, June 28. Mr E. D. Mosley, S.M., to-day gave reserved decision in a case in which the Income Tax Commissioner proceeded against Orombie, draper, of Temufca, for (1) failing to furnish returns of finance for the three years 1918-19-20, and (2) misleading, or attempting to mislead, the Commissioner in relation to his income in 1920 and 1921. The magistrate found the defendant guilty on both charges, and fined him £25 for failure to make a return in 1920, £2 for failure in 1918-19, and £lO for negligently misleading the Commissioner in respect to his income in 1920-21.
