NOT KICKS, BUT PRAISE
FOR WAR. RELIEF ASSOCIATION. “We are accustomed to receiving so many kicks,” remarked the chairman (Mr L. O. H. Tripp) at yesterday’s meeting of the War Relief Association executive, “that it is pleasant now and again to receive such, communications.’ The remark was passed concerning a letter of thanks from the Taihape Patriotic Society for “valuable information ' supplied and great assistance and unfailing courtesy” which the committee had always been accorded in their dealings. “At a recent meeting,” the secretary of the Taihape society wrote, “the members individually expressed their appreciation of your efforts, and it was unanimously .and with great heartiness and sincerity resolved that such appreciation be recorded in our book of minutes. We further hope the existing happy relations may long continue.”
