ANNUAL MEETING OF ASSQCLL TION. The annual meeting of the Wellington Wholesale Soft Goods’ Association took place on Monday evening in the Chamber of Commerce. The various local soft goods houses were well represented. and an enthusiastic meeting took place. After the adoption of the annual report and balance-sheet, the following were elected as officers and executive for the ensuing year:—President, Mr E. A. Batt: vice-president*, Messrs C. Arcus and J. Robinson; secretary, Mr C. J. Brown; treasurer, Mr P. C. •Tones: committee. Messrs H. L. Mitchell, F. Paul, W. North. C. Leary, J. McArthur, Cass, and Fletcher-Jones; auditors, Messrs A. Lawson and FGreen.
